i am thinking about purchasing a large canvas and doing some paint-splattering (i have some great paint-thinner!). I can put some of my japanese rice paper on my canvas and use some mod podge to make parts shiny.

This can be my summer canvas; totally unorganized; totally beautiful in its messiness and unpredictable art; i can even print things off the net to add to my canvas... i just have to be finished in time for college... maybe i should do several medium-sized cavases and then choose a couple to hang in my dormroom. i can even add old magazine clippings that are currently on my cork boards.. i suddenly have an aversion to tacks and they make me very nervous so this can be my solution. this is the perfect solution; getting things used up so that i have less junk while at the same time creating beautiful art.
